Like most young girls, I grew up loving horses. I've always known that I'd want to pursue a career in that field. After getting horses of my own and lots of research, I chose to leave my own horses barefoot. This idea seemed to make the most sense as they are not born with shoes and they've survived for so long without them.
I quickly became fascinated by natural hoofcare not only for maintenance but also rehabilitation. The idea of being able to rehabilitate horses with severe and chronic hoof diseases fueled me to learn Pete Rameys techniques and to eventually become certified with the American Hoof Association.
Over 20 years later and it's still my passion:)
